West Heath is one of my favourite wedding venues in Kent. Its expansive green lawns, magnificent pillared entrance and classically beautiful interior make it an ideal space for elegant and sophisticated celebrations.
This 18th century building features three beautiful rooms, all oozing class and refinement, making this a perfect venue for a sophisticated wedding.
Flowers are an important part of any wedding. Often, flowers will be the main focus of your wedding décor. I’d recommend choosing the traditional rose as the main bloom in your bouquet. Your wedding flowers will often reflect your wedding’s colour scheme and I find that white is perhaps the definitive colour for weddings. This bouquet of white roses from The Flower Mill in Wickford would look beautiful in the hands of a West Heath bride.
Wedding cars are often photographed outside venues, so it’s important to choose a vehicle that complements the exterior. The grand, 18th century West Heath, for example, calls for an equally grand car, such as those owned by Bow Field Wedding Cars. As you pull up outside your venue in one of Bow Field’s classic and vintage vehicles, you’ll really set the tone for your big day.
Music is another important factor when planning an elegant celebration. While you’ll probably want to spend the evening dancing to your favourite tunes played by a DJ or covers band, your ceremony and wedding breakfast might call for something a little more subtle! This Classic String Quartet can play gorgeous classical background music that will add a lovely sophisticated touch to your celebration.
So, if you’d like to hold a wedding that exudes class and elegance, make sure you bear some of these ideas in mind!
